The name ‘Chor-Bazaar ‘ was attained due to the re-sale of stolen products basically electronic good.The market is a street market with shops on the roadside or on footpaths.

If you need to get the best buy you will need to get up early on a Sunday Morning.You need to be in the market at 6 AM , if earlier , even better ! In-fact the market operates between 5 AM to 9 AM.The same market at the day time becomes ‘Sunday Book Market’.

There are many pickpockets in the market so you need to be on alert as well.The market also houses branded shoes albeit  stolen , second hand or with minor defects.
